My Story
Born in a part of the world and at a time when real power belonged to men, I was determined to prove that I was more than equal.
This desire became my core motivation and led me to excel at school and at work.
I was going to rise to the top, no matter what the cost.
It paid off.
My Ambition Took Me Far in My Career
Received a full scholarship to Harvard Kennedy School’s first cohort of the prestigious and rigorous Masters in Public Administration and International Development program taught by global economists Jeffery Sachs and Dani Rodrik.
Lived and worked across 4 continents as a strategic global management consultant with a focus on development economics, microfinance and mobile finance.
Worked with Mastercard and the Aga Khan Foundations to impact the lives of the poorest of the poor.
Raised and supported a family of two girls and my husband during multiple moves across continents. I continue to do this.
By my early thirties, I had it all—a degree from Harvard, a dynamic international career and a loving young family.
But…
It didn’t feel like it. I felt like I needed to do more, achieve more.
And that was when I made the most critical choice of my life.
I chose to step back and explore why I was running and for what purpose. What was I hoping to achieve that I hadn’t already conquered?
Thus started my greatest achievement: a journey towards deep self-knowledge. My inherited drive and the outward trappings of success were not fulfilling for me. Instead, after years of reflection and study, I discovered that what gives me profound joy is helping others achieve their dreams.
What empowers me is empowering other women.
In shifting gears and becoming a personal coach, I took the steps towards true and lasting success in my life.
Today, my life is full of purpose, passion and power.
This is why I do what I do—help other women move towards their own definition of success and power. I take the tools, experience and wisdom accumulated on my own 20+ year journey of self-awareness and transformation to move you in the direction you want in a matter of days and weeks.
